JUSTICE IN MOTION: on edge
Sat 14 August, 1pm & 4pm
Duration: 45 mins
Justice in Motion marries exciting choreography, theatre and parkour athletics with beauty and humour, to tell a stimulating, moving tale that asks - what does it really mean to be free?
Atop towering scaffolding, a group of men ricochet around a building site. Their routine may give a sense of purpose and security yet behind the perimeter fencing, all is not as it first appears.
Told with the energy and excitement of athletic choreography on a towering parkour ‘construction site’, this is the story of how modern slavery exists under our noses, within our communities, outside our knowledge.

About the company
Justice in Motion, is an Oxford based physical theatre company, set up in 2013 by artistic director Anja Meinhardt. They are creative ambassadors, advocating positive social change. Whilst restrictions are being lifted for outdoor performances and installations we still want to keep everyone safe and avoid large, closely packed crowds.
This event will be a performance at fixed times on a raised stage. We will be laying out very limited audience seating and will put out indicators for groups to social distance. Our Stewards will be moving through the audience asking you to give each other plenty of space.
Staff will be wearing masks or visors and be regularly sanitizing their hands. We ask that you follow their instructions closely and, if asked, make space or give way for others.
We ask that nobody approach the stage too closely or any of our fenced off staff areas. We've carefully sanitised these for the protection of all and are keeping access as low as possible during the day.
We ask everyone to be patient and not clump up as they make their way on or off the square.
Whilst the event is in the open air we do still encourage people to wear face covers whilst watching the performance, especially during peak time when large numbers are likely to gather.
We ask that audiences respect social distancing guidelines and maintain at least 1m distance from fellow audience members outside their bubble or household. Please remember that it is not always clear who is most vulnerable.
