Orpheus, the world’s greatest musician and poet, is devastated by the death of his beloved Eurydice.

With the help of Spiritcom, a virtual reality machine, and accompanied by the power of his music, Orpheus launches himself into Hades determined to bring Eurydice back to life.

 

About the company 

Insectotròpics is a performing and visual arts company born in Barcelona in 2011 that is committed to the hybridization of languages and multidisciplinary shows. Made up by Laia Ribas, iEX, Xanu and Maria Thorson, the company has artists who join the Insectotròpic family in each production, thus creating collective concepts that blend various dimensions and perspectives.


In its shows, Insectotròpics proposes a journey through the deepest and most visceral emotions through its own and experimental language that combines live painting, live cinema, drama, and music. Its staging shows the inner workings of the creative process, so that the audience is a spectator of both the making of and the final result.
