A festival of South Asian music with live events and DJs, bringing a uniquely colourful and vibrant celebration of contemporary South Asian culture, including live performances and DJ’s. It aims to give a platform for UK South Asian creativity. The festival will also include an installation of Kinetika People’s large-scale silk flags, helping to create a festival feel on the High Street.

15:00- 16:00 Rizmi (DJ)
Rizmi - DJ, producer, vocalist and visual artist interested in the mystical dimensions of sound, music and collective movement.
16:00 - 16:40 Tommy Khosla (solo live)
Tommy Khosla - Sitarist and composer who navigates a diverse musical landscape, including Latin jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music.
17:00 - 17:45 Karma Sheen (live)
Karma Sheen - Merging Hindustani Classical, fuzzy 60s Rock à la Jimi Hendrix, and Sufi-inspired lyricism. Spearheaded by Sameer Khan.
18:00 - 18:40 Shivum Sharma (live)
Shivum Sharma - Singer, songwriter and DJ, whose futuristic soulful sound is inspired by high-octane vocalists, from Minnie Riperton to Prince to Björk.
19:00 - 19:45 Jitwam (live)
Jitwam - merging global sounds with modern production techniques, creating a unique blend of some of the warmest hip hop, r&b, house, jazz and soul fusion.
20:00 - 21:00 Shifa Ligero (DJ)
Shifa Ligero (DJ) - expect amazing future sounds, Edits, Baile funk hip-hop, R&B and everything in between.

DJ Priya - Bringing fatally energetic mixes with a Desi twist! Expect Bhangra mash-ups, Baile funk, Dembow, jersey club, bashment and Reggaeton.
Anhad is studded with live acts including: sitar virtuoso and composer, Tommy Khosla; Karma Sheen who combine Hindustani Classical with 1960’s psych rock, Shivum Sharma who blends futuristic soulful pop and Jitwam’s unique blend of some of the warmest hip hop, R&B, house, jazz and soul fusion sounds, as well as DJ’s who bring the hottest beats and edits from the mystical sounds of Rizmi to the Bhangra mashups, Baile funk, Dembow, jersey club, bashment and Reggaeton of DJ Priya and hip hop Baile funk and R&B of Shifa Ligero.
